Plans comparison

We chose to keep LiveSet free by default so that it can be tested. Even though we do our best to make the app as complete as possible and to satisfy a wide range of musicians with different needs, every musician has their own preferences and requirements — and there is nothing more frustrating than paying for an app and then being disappointed.

In the free version, almost all features of the app are available, but the following limitations apply:

• You can only store up to 15 scores in your personal library
• Audio recording is limited to 15 seconds per song
• You can only use the base grooves styles
• PDF exports include a mention and a link to the app
• You cannot publish scores to the public library

If you enjoy the app, you can upgrade to a paid plan (which we aim to keep as affordable as possible): BASIC or PRO.

BASIC plan

The best option for a single device (for example, if you use LiveSet only on your tablet).

With a BASIC plan:

• There is no longer any limit on the number of songs or setlists
• Audio recording is no longer limited
• Unlimited access to new grooves styles, that we regularly publish and that get downloaded automatically.
• You can publish scores to the public library
• PDF exports no longer include any LiveSet mention

However, since this plan is intended for a single device:

• Your scores are not backed up in the cloud. They are stored only on your device
• Only one device is allowed. If you open the app on another device with the same account, LiveSet will ask you to wait. In addition, you will not find the scores and setlists saved on your other device

To upgrade to the BASIC plan, there is a one-time payment, and the plan is granted for life.

PRO plan

The plan that offers maximum comfort and security.

With a PRO plan:

• There is no longer any limit on the number of songs or setlists
• Audio recording is no longer limited
• Unlimited access to new grooves styles, that we regularly publish and that get downloaded automatically.
• You can publish scores to the public library
• PDF exports no longer include any LiveSet mention
• Your scores are stored in our cloud, and accessible across all your devices — simply install the app on other devices or log in via the web to access everything. Your changes are synchronized between devices.

The PRO plan is a monthly or yearly subscription (the yearly option allows you to save several months), which you can subscribe to directly within the app.

Security and privacy

Important: the LiveSet app, and we (Cognitechs SA), do not have access to any of your financial information.

All payment operations, subscription management, and billing cycles are fully handled by:

• Apple, if you are using an iOS device
• Stripe (a leading reference in e-commerce), if you are using an Android device or the web version of the app
