Plan comparison

We have chosen to keep LiveSet free by default, so you can try it out. Although we do everything we can to make the app as complete as possible and to satisfy as many users as possible with very different profiles, every musician has their own preferences and needs, and there is nothing more frustrating than paying for an app and then being disappointed. 

In the free version, almost all the app’s features are available, but the following limitations apply:

• You can only save 15 scores in your personal library.
• Audio recording is limited to 15 seconds per song.
• Only the basic groove styles can be used.
• PDF exports include a mention of and a link to the app.
• You cannot publish scores to the public library.

If you enjoy the app, you can upgrade to a paid plan (which we try to keep as affordable as possible): BASIC or PRO.

The BASIC plan

The best option for a single device (for example, if you only use LiveSet on your tablet). 

With a BASIC plan:

• There is no longer any limit on the number of songs or setlists.
• Audio recording is no longer limited.
• Unlimited access to new groove styles, published regularly and downloaded automatically.
• You can publish scores to the public library.
• PDF exports no longer include any mention of LiveSet.

However, as this plan is designed for one device only:

• Your scores are not backed up in our cloud. Your scores are saved only on your device.
• Only one device is allowed. If you open the app on another device with the same account, LiveSet will ask you to wait a little while. In addition, you will not find the scores and setlists saved on your other device.

To upgrade to the BASIC plan, you only need to make a one-time payment, and the plan is granted to you for life.

The PRO plan

The plan that offers maximum comfort and security.

With a PRO plan:

• There is no longer any limit on the number of songs or setlists.
• Audio recording is no longer limited.
• Unlimited access to new groove styles, published regularly and downloaded automatically.
• You can publish scores to the public library.
• PDF exports no longer include any mention of LiveSet.
• Your scores are saved in our cloud, and you can access them on all your devices — simply install the app on other devices or sign in via the web, and you will find everything there. Your changes are synchronised between your devices.

The PRO plan is a monthly or yearly subscription (which lets you save several months!), which you can subscribe to via the app. 

Security and privacy

Important: neither the LiveSet app nor we ourselves (Cognitechs SA) have access to any financial information about you. All payment operations, subscription management and billing cycles are handled entirely by Apple if you use an iOS device, or by our partner Stripe (a leading name in e-commerce) if you use an Android device or the web app.
