For users with a paid LiveSet account (BASIC or PRO), it is possible to share songs with the community.
A publicly shared song becomes accessible:
- In the public library, to any LiveSet user (registered or not)
- On the Internet, to any user, whether they have the app or not. Each song has a unique URL that you can freely share
Prerequisites
To publish a song, the following is required:
- You must have a LiveSet account with a BASIC or PRO plan
- You must have defined your public profile in the app (this allows users to know who published the score)
To define your public profile, select the Public profile option from the menu at the top right:
LiveSet will then ask you to fill in some information that will be shared along with your songs:
Your profile can be modified at any time.
Publishing a score
To publish a score from your library, swipe it to the right (as you would to export it), and choose Publish to public library.
Once completed, LiveSet makes your score available in the public library and stores its direct URL in your clipboard, so you can paste it wherever you want.
Note: You remain the “owner” of a publicly shared song. Other users cannot overwrite or modify it, but you can replace it with a new version at any time.
Note 2: Only scores in the native LiveSet format can be shared. Imported PDFs or images cannot be published.
