LiveSet allows you to search for scores or song lyrics in several public libraries:
- The library shared by LiveSet users (see here to learn how to share your own songs)
- The open-source lyrics database LRCLIB
These libraries can be explored through a single interface, accessible from the song list by pressing the button at the bottom left and choosing Public Library.
The search bar allows you to enter the name (or part of the name) of a song or artist. Pressing the search button then starts a search across the selected sources (LiveSet and/or LRCLIB).
Search results include several indicators:
- The song title and artist name (and subtitle when applicable)
- The source library of the song (LiveSet or LRCLIB)
- The icon
indicates that the score contains lyrics (possibly without chords)
- The icon
indicates that timing markers have been recorded (allowing lyrics scrolling to follow the original timing of the song)
- The icon
indicates that the song includes a YouTube link used for synchronization (see here)
To preview a search result, simply tap it. A preview window of the corresponding score will appear:
From this window, the Import button allows you to add the song to your personal library.
