The Show Time mode

LiveSet is designed as a toolbox for live musicians, so it naturally includes a dedicated mode for live performance: Show Time mode.

This mode, accessible from a setlist page, displays songs one after another in full screen, with minimal distractions.

To launch Show Time mode, press the button at the bottom right of the setlist editor.

To exit Show Time mode, tap the small cross () in the top right corner.

Features

In Show Time mode, most of the screen is dedicated to the current page, with only a few main controls at the bottom.

Switch to "prompter" mode

For lyric-based scores (and also usable with chord charts), prompter mode can be activated by pressing the corresponding button.

Timer

The timer at the bottom left starts as soon as Show Time mode is activated and shows the elapsed time since the beginning of the performance.

Standard controls (play/pause, reset) allow you to pause or reset the timer.

Starting note

The starting note button plays the note configured for the song or interlude.

This is useful for singers who need to start a song without an introduction.

Note: This button is only displayed if a starting note has been set.

Metronome

The metronome button plays two (or more) bars of visual metronome (and optionally audio if enabled) to set the starting tempo.

Holding the button for one second keeps the metronome running until manually stopped.

The number of preroll bars can be configured in the app Preferences.

Navigation

This area allows you to navigate between pages or songs.

Holding your finger on the song number for one second displays the full setlist, allowing quick access to a specific song.

Songs already played appear greyed out (those displayed for at least 30 seconds).

Important: You can also simply swipe left or right anywhere on the screen to move between pages.

If properly configured, you can also use a page-turn pedal to navigate forward or backward. This can be set up in the app Preferences.

Upcoming song

The last area helps you anticipate what’s next by displaying the title of the upcoming song.
